Affiliate Ranks and Commissions

The Currency People pays lifetime commissions on sales generated from clients you directly introduce. You can also receive commissions on sales generated from clients your clients have introduced (up to six tiers deep).

All affiliates start equally and at no cost. The rank of an affiliate and the related commission rate are based solely on direct sales (generated by the affiliate and their tier 1 clients). The following chart shows affiliate ranks, their commission rates and the required business of direct sales per month to qualify for that rank.

How do I rise up the ranks?

Beginner: Anyone can be a beginner. You simply sign up as an affiliate, refer us clients and collect 25% of the sales we generate from those clients, no matter how much business is done. You do the work once and the income flows in, month after month, year after year...

Clients you directly introduce to us are called tier 1 clients. When a tier 1 client introduces a client of their own, this is known as a tier 2 client, and so on. To reap the rewards of tiers 2 and more, you need to achieve the rank of Bronze affiliate or higher.

Bronze: The Bronze rank is for the more committed affiliate. You receive 26% of the sales generated from the business introduced by your tier 1 clients, and a further 5% of sales generated from any tier 2 clients, providing the direct sales (business you and your tier 1 clients refer to us) reaches the minimum qualification level (which, in the case of a Bronze affiliate, is £100k per month).

Example of a Bronze Affiliate
David runs a Spanish property agency in London. John buys a villa for £120k through David's agency and uses The Currency People on David's recommendation to get a great rate of exchange. David then collects 26% of the profits made by The Currency People on exchanging the currency because John is a tier 1 client of his. John then decides to become an affiliate of The Currency People because he has a friend Mary who is buying an apartment in Spain. Mary is therefore a tier 1 client of John and a tier 2 client of David. Mary buys an apartment for £60k and uses The Currency People to do the exchange on John's recommendation. John collects 25% of the profit on Mary's trade and David collects 5%. Because the amount exchanged that month by David and his tier 1 client (John) is £120k, David is in the Bronze rank. (John remains a Beginner Affiliate because the business referred by him in the month is less than £100k).

Silver: The Silver rank allows you to receive 27% of the sales generated from the business introduced by your tier 1 clients, 5% of sales from tier 2 clients and 2% from tier 3 clients, providing your direct sales reaches £500k in the given month.

Gold: The Gold rank is for affiliates able to provide £1m per month of business from themselves or their tier 1 clients. This rank pays out a total of 37% on affiliate-referred business up to 4 tiers deep.

Platinum: The Platinum rank is for affiliates able to provide £10m per month of business. The total commission paid in this rank is 40%, up to 5 tiers deep.

Diamond: The Diamond rank is for our highest achievers only - those who provide £25m per month of business through direct sales. Diamond affiliates are paid a total 43% commission up to 6 tiers deep.
